I’m on tour in the Southeast this month
I’ve been to 43 of the 50 states in the U.S. This month I’m hoping to get that number up to 46 with a road trip through the southeast.
I’m speaking at An Event Apart Orlando on Wed October 29th and then spending 8 days driving through Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana (tentative route here or look below).
On Nov 4th I’ll be in Collierville, TN to speak at FedEx, but the rest of my dates are TBD.
If you live somewhere on my route and can help organize a place for me to give a lecture or a happy hour when I’m in your neighborhood, get in touch.
Wow. What a lot of travel. I regret I can’t do any happy hour or help for you.
But here’s a topic: They say that travel is fated to be boring if you do a lot. What do you do to minimize that fate?
Are you going to come through Mobile, AL in your route? If so, I would be interested in trying to put something together.
OK, let me clarify. Are you driving or flying from Orlando to New Orleans? A drive brings you through my fair city, a flight simply lets you wave from 10,000 feet.
When you’re in Collierville (aka Memphis), give me a shout. Happy to take you around and share some BBQ and such. We can invite some of my FedEx friends too and make them pay for drinks. ;-)
Sounds good to me. Thanks Otto.
We would love to have you speak to our MeetUp group in Huntsville, Alabama. And if you’re interested in space travel at all, there may be a few things around here to see. :) My MeetUp partner Brian Moon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phorum) may have already contacted you. Either way, let me know if we fit into your schedule. And we can discuss details.

Can yon make another 70 miles and come to Montgomery? Would love to hear and speak to you. Let me know what I can do to help make this happen.
