    It usually means “why is this conference or employer wasting my time with this”?

    Feel-good fluff. Often spoken by someone who has primarily made their success giving motivational speeches, not by doing the same things the rest of us have and then extrapolating.

    (Present company has, however, earned my respect. But you were asking about the label. . .)
